Ferguson (left), vice president and chief engineer, and Harvey Ingham, vice president and general manager, of Philadelphia Community Antenna Television Company. They attended recent dinner of civic leaders in Levittown, Pa., to kick off subscriber campaign for nations first 24 channel CATV system, serving Levittown and Lower Bucks County, Pa. First 50 miles of the 250-mile system is expected to be in operation about January 15, 1968. Jerrold is the turnkey contractor for the system, which has a goal of serving 28, 000 homes. Philadelphia CATV is associated with Lower Bucks Cablevision, Inc., in building and operating the system." |
