She is responsible for the upgrading and expansion of local programming in the systems as well as development of programming for national distribution. Ms. Bjornson joined Teleprompter as Associate Director of Programming in November 1979. Previously she was co-producer of "The Open Mind, " an award-winning public affairs series on PBS. Her other television credits include the original "Omnibus, " "Adlai Stevenson Reports" for ABC News, and the children's series "Once Upon a Day" for WNET-TV in New York. Ms. Bjornson holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Florida."
