The money was raised through various marketing promotions and special events held by Warner Amex's National Division. Pictured, receiving a plaque expressing MDA's appreciation for the company's efforts in the 1984 drive, are: Drew Lewis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Warner Amex Cable Communications Inc. (right), James L. Gray, President of Warner Amex's National Division (center). Presenting the award is Steven Getz, National Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (left).
