Original caption: "Ralph Roberts, President of Comcast Corp., multi-cable systems operator, receives a check for $2, 754, 2000, the net proceeds from a public underwriting from W. W. Keen Butcher, of Butcher & Sherrerd whose company headed the underwriting syndicate. Comcast, which provides service to 32, 000 subscribers, sold 430, 000 shares of its stock to the public at $7.00 per share. Comcast executives looking on are Daniel Aaron, vice president cable operations and Julian A. Brodsky, treasurer." |
